I thought I better follow-up to my last post. Hubby and I got a lot of things figured out over the last 2 weeks or so and things are looking up. The "Issue" I was talking about has been cut from our lives and hubby knows where I stand on it. We're working on mending our marriage and getting on with life.
Anyway....been busy getting the yard in shape. The HOA does inspections every August, and we're trying to get ahead of the game and get the weed infestation under control.
Yesterday, I did a lot of work and I'm feeling it today. After going to a mommy group event at the garden... (more)

Been going through some hard times lately. Between the new baby and my husband driving me up the wall with his demands for attention, I'm at a lost as to what to do most days. I kind of wander around in a haze most days, doing what must be done.
Only recently am I starting to wake up and smell the coffee...and see what's been going on around me. I think something has been going on behind my back. Something I don't want to air here for fear of family or friends reading it here. But it's bad enough for me to wonder about my marriage, trust and our future together.
*sigh* Life sucks... (more)

6 months later, I Finally return to this old blog. Who knows if anyone's still reading this. Really, I needed the break. Being pregnant and taking care of the toddler and dealing with the news house, ontop of everything else was starting to get to me. Even though, some times, I'd start to thing, "Man, I need to blog rant." I never really made it over here, mainly becuase I'd never find the time, energy or brain cells.
Well, the 2nd kid (aka J) was born back in mid-January (if you want more info, go to our family blog), I've recovered and ready to get back on my high horse.
Actually,... (more)

So, we're in the new house and the DSL is on again, no thanks to SBC, who only guarentees 1 working phone plug....who would think it would be the one in the master bedroom!?!?!? There's a lot of things for me to do around here and just not enough energy to expend on it all. I decided to take today off to rest up....I've been working so hard the last week getting us moved that this morning, I woke up feeling like crap. Ugh! Atleast I have the internet back to keep me entertained!!!

soft scrub and other fun

I swear my head is going to explode soon. I came down with one of my famous killer headaches yesterday afternoon. Ugh. And yes, the first thing I did was make a soda run to 7-11, to no effect. Damn sinuses.
I think I'm allergic to the dust in the new house OR the soft scrub I was pouring all over the new house today. It's probably the dust. I'm so thankful that the carpet cleaners are showing up Friday becuase I'm quite sure I wouldn't be able to stand living in that place with this icky carpet one day.
Oh, and I found out that our kitchen floor, which was previously thought to be... (more)

I walked down to the bank yesterday afternoon to empty out the checking account in the form of a cashier's check for the down payment to our new house. While there, I decided to go browsing through the Blockbusters next door, just to see if anything jumped off of the shelves and screamed, "RENT ME!" Nothing did so I headed out the door, centered on the mile and a half walk home...when the clerk stopped me at the door.
"Didn't see anything you liked?" he asked.
"Nah. Nothing really caught my interest this time."
"Well, if you told me what you are interested in, maybe I can suggest... (more)

Yes, it's true, we are out of here. The moving truck is arriving on Labor Day and soon, another empty rental will join the many others that are available right now around your home.
Oh, wait...am I sensing a trend?
As I write this, it is 10 PM and even at this hour, we can hear your teenagers screaming at one another...from within your house....the house with the windows WIDE open. This is not a rare occurance but a nightly event. Not even the "mom and daughter sdtnading in the middle of the street, screaming at one another" is a rare occurance.
Can I suggest one thing? One simple... (more)
